I saw myself without no country
Then I heard the cry of my brothers
As i saw my mother’s house on fire
And the body of my parents filled with sleeping medicine
Oh where did the joy of my mother’s house go to?
And why has public offices been used for gambling
As men on uniform now control my life
I have lost my fundamental rights
As my mother’s house is been divided
I see a boy been forced to wear his mother’s uniform
As he was separated from his kinsmen
Oh when will the sky stop shading blood?
And when will my kinsmen return
I hear a glorious sound of jubilation
Will it be the return of my kinsmen?
